Binder clips generally end up loose rattling around in file cabinets or at the bottom of  supply boxes. The packaging doesn’t have a second life once taken out and used.

After surveying what sorts of applications binder clips have been used in, we set out to broaden potential clip uses. We explored how the packaging might encourage and reframe use as less of an office and more of an assistant.

I developed reusable packaging for convenient storage and used a word mark and typographic system reflecting the utility of the clip beyond office use.
