Architecture and design students at KU long have worked in separate areas of the building. The common areas of the building allowed students to congregate, but rarely encouraged collaboration.

Working with architecture students, we discovered most students focused on projects relying on their peers for critique. We developed a brand encouraging collaboration and serendipity between majors. We hoped to create an environment to broaden perspectives and encourage an open learning space. 

To encourage the cross-collaboration, we developed brand and environmental assets inspired by the mixing and repurposing of old materials.
